MLM means Multi-Level Marketing. It has many other names like Network marketing, direct selling, referral marketing and pyramid selling. MLM is a marketing strategy used by some companies. The marketing structure creates a sales force by giving commission to promoters of the company’s products, for the sales they generate and sales of other promoters they introduce to the company. This creates a down line of distributors/promoters and a hierarchy of many compensation levels in a pyramid form. The company products are marketed directly to consumers and potential business partners by relationship referrals and word of mouth marketing. I am sure you have heard of some these MLM Companies, people worldwide know about them: Avon, Oriflame, Kleeneze, Amway Global (Quixtar) etc.

MLM Success is highly dependent on marketing and how you do it. When you become distributor for a MLM company, much of your success depends on your marketing skills and techniques. Without that, you incur huge losses. Actually many new MLM marketers never actually receive marketing training. Marketing is promoting yourself or your business to the right group of people, who are looking for what you have to offer. Many network marketers are told to talk to create a list of 100 names and talk to each one of them. This is often a waste their time because the people are not interested in what they have to offer. This approach will lead to few sales and discouragement often to the point the that distributor will drop out of the business opportunity. One classic example of this is a high energy sales person that just lights up the room when they walk in. Often these people can enroll lots of distributors just from their energy but since what they do is not your style or personality, what they teach you on how to enroll people has little or no value to what you can do.

This is the brick wall that most MLM marketers face when they get in the industry. If however you are able to plug up with a team that will give you step by step instructions of how you can market and in turn teach your own team to market that would yield a different result. You have to understand that the average network marketer only stays in their business for 63 days. If you however can get a check in their had before that 63 days you have demonstrated to them that they can make money and they will stay in the business much longer. It is therefore crucial that you work with your new team members to allow them to make some money a quickly as possible to help them gain momentum on their business and to keep them in the business for the long run.

Just because your upline does not have the required training does not mean you cannot be successful. That is only one ingredient but with the right training you can explode your business.

It is not too often that two things come together that make a perfect match and complement each other where the two added together is better than the sum of the two. These are all third party grading entities that will grade a coin and certify its Sheldon Scale grading. To give you an idea of how coins vary in price here is an example. A 2009 Silver American Eagle Dollar has 1 ounce of silver. To get an understanding of how these coins and appreciate, the 1997 Silver American Eagle Dollar in MS70 is worth about $500 today. As you can see this is a large contrast.

I am continueing my video series on things that people do or do not do that cause them to fail in network marketing. This is the final video in the series and is the the number one reason why people fail. It is because they quit. This business takes time to learn what to do and what not to do. You are spending time growing yourself and learning day in and day out. It is not going to happen over night. It is a marathon not a sprint. You may have heard stories of some people having success in a new business quikly but often what you do not hear is that the person spent years going themselves and their relationships in order to be able to do what they did. There is no magic pill to this. You must put in the time and stay in the game. Some people will do it quicker than others depending on how much time they put into it each day and other God given talents they may have. The key is you can not quit.

I have to say that Jeffery Combs is quite unique an a genius when it comes to being able to read people and knowing how to push their buttons and close them. Jeffery is president and founder of Golden Mastermind Seminars and spends most of his time doing personal coaching to entrepreneurs in the direct marketing field. After hearing Jeffery I was compelled to hire him as my coach and I also received all of his CD and book library for my collection. (I have a lot to read and listen to for a while)

I think the bottom line is that whenever you have an opportunity to attend a conference like this you need to do everything you can to try to attend them. I am reminded by a comment that Brian made about the first conference that he attended for his primary business and that he was struggling up to that point but that one month after he attended the conference he had his first 10K month.

I am writing this post specifically to those that are already members of the best marketing system on the planet and that is MLMLeadSystemPro. What do you do with your optins that do not leave their phone number. If you are like most you let the autoresponder send them emails but basically you do nothing.  That is a problem because most people are surfing around the Internet they run into your site and optin but then they are off surfing again and they forget all about you. Yes, you send them emails from your autoresponder but they optin to many sites and get lots of email they do not read….So what are you going to do about that. How do you make sure they do ready your emails. Remeber of they are not reading them then you are unlikley to get any of the affiliate commitions that are marketed in those emails.

This is a common problem and one that is correctable by doing just  a few things. Go down your list of leads and look for those with no phone numbers. Take the email and search for that email in Facebook. What I have found is about 70% of the emails you will find. Send an invitation to those people with a note. The note should say something like “Hey, saw you visited by web site and wanted to connect with you. Will you be my friend” What you will find is that a good number of these people will accept the invitation. This is great. Now make sure that you do regular posts on Facebook so that they can see that you are a real person and have a real life. What will happen is these people will start reading your autoresponder emails and you will increase you affiliate commissions as they get to know you and trust you more.

That brings up another point. How do you know if they are reading your emails if you are only using the standard emails that MLSP offers. That is a good question. What you want to do is add additional emails in the autoresponder that are HTML emails which allows the tracking of the opening of the email. What I do is that I add emails that have a more personal touch to them. One example is after a week I send an email that says “Bob Here, you have been getting my emails for a week now and just wanted to make sure I was doing all I could to help you market your business on-line. If you have any questions please give me a call or shoot me an email” . This sort of short and quick emaiols you will be surprised how many people will reply to. Those emails will allow you to connect further with them. That is what it is all about guys…connecting. So if you are not doing this then start.
