I agree with Bert, this is a true litmus test when evaluating an MLM company. You've really got to look at all those factors in order to determine a sound business decision.

Great checklist Bob.

Number three is a big one to me, especially with new start ups.
Other than having a good product or service the leadership is key.

I would never get involved with a company that simple had a few high producers from other companies starting up their own with no real company creation & leadership experience under their belt.

Yes, doing your due dilligence is the key component of making the correct choice of finding the company that you want to be part of. When I made the decision of switching companies was because I just knew it was time! I was really struggling, especially with the huge copetition I had to confront, it was exhausting! I am so glad that I made this change, this company has not only exceeded my expecations, I found everything I was looking for, the product, the comp plan, the team and the exceptional leadership.

Great Post Bob… I am really digging the part about trusting your enroller. My newest business opportunity I went sponsor shopping until I found someone that I wanted to work with, had a proven track record and who was preferably in my age bracket. Age because I knew I connect with them easier. Finding and trusting your enroller is a huge key and can somewhat help you become more successful.

Thanks for the great summary Bob. I agree with your points but have found that the last one may be the most difficult to judge and know for sure. That is why I recommend that people depend on their sponsor and a “training system” for learning how to market that also provides additional leaders that can assist. Beyond the sponsor, it is sometimes impossible to know how much help, training and assistance will be present a few weeks or months down the road.
